Framing
These pictures alone would look okay, but together in this collage you can see how the different lighting techniques the photographer used affected the picture.


Hierarchy
Being an engineer I could think of no better hierarchy than an instruction manual and one of the women at work has an origami book.

Layers
Perfect example of layering images. The satellite image is the base layer, the street maps are layered over that, and the driving directions are layered over that.


Here is a really interesting layers example. thanks to Felice Varini This was a room that was painted so that only from a certain angle would you see the pattern line up perfectly. Otherwise you would just see random red patterns in a white hallway. The left view is not perfectly in line. The right view is when everything is lined up correctly.
